As a single father living with blindness, I struggled for years to maintain a basic quality of life for my son and I while still giving him the personal time he needed. When my son was diagnosed with cancer, I arranged my life so that I could be by his side throughout the treatment process.

With the excess time this allowed me, I decided to take a close look at the different aspects of my life that I could control. My goal was to make educated choices aimed to insure that we came through the struggle in a better place than we started. I delved into a wide range of topics, and documented my findings to empower you in your individual journey.

We all make choices constantly throughout our waking lives. Many of these choices are made with little to no forethought and often result in a lack of growth and progress. By examining the choices that come up repeatedly, we can develop personalized systems and approaches for ourselves that further our goals and support our individual ideals and principals.
